Star Wars In Concert
The live performance was fantastic! There was little room to get pictures as the main hallway that circles around the Scott Trade Center is too small for such events. With exhibits, fans, and vendors, there was little room for traffic to move about.
We got to our seats in section 107, second row from the very top by the ceiling. A suspended stage speaker was blocking the middle of the screen. We were bummed but glad to be out of the hallway crowd and ready to sit down. A friendly Usher surprised us by walking up and asking to see our tickets. We were in the cheap seats and knew we were in the right seats and complied. The Usher then stated it was our lucky day as we were getting a free upgrade in seats. The show's producer did not like our view. The Usher moved us down to better seats that were much closer. It was an early Christmas gift!
Disappointed that there were not more exhibits and that there were no exhibits with spaceship models (Come on, this is "Star Wars", as in stars, as in space). Disappointed that no vendors had Yoda tee-shirts in kids sizes. Disappointed that the Scott Trade Center lobby near the garage was not larger. Had to wait 21 minutes in the freezing cold before the gates opened.
In the end, we had a great time and would be willing to pay to go again.
